A page dedicated to how Points Darts is growing. This will be updated regularly
As I write this in April 2026, I am still waiting for my PDPA license to arrive and cannot coach without it. The first portable booth is almost complete and two venues who want coaching for kids have been secured. We are nearly up and running……
Created in 2026, I (Ali Driver) created Points Darts as a Sole Trader. As a darts player myself, and wanting to improve, I started looking for a darts coach nearby that I could get some advice from, but there were none that I could find. Coaching seemed to be the reserve of ex professionals. I started researching how to become a darts coach myself and took the PDPA Level 1 coaching coarse, a newly devised course and run by Glen Durrant. I also started engaging with those that run the darts scene locally to discover that Reading has no darts Academy for kids and felt that this had to change. I also had the vision to develop portable darts booths that collapsed and folded and could be transported in my car enabling venues like Village Halls, not traditionally used for darts, to become available, and Points Darts was born.
